The GOP nominee for state attorney general could end up indicted by the very agency he could end up leading. He is under investigation for his involvement in a conspiracy to tamper with voting machines. He's ironically spread claims that the 2020 election was stolen due to rigged machines and tried to challenge the 2020 Michigan presidential election results in court.
It gets more hilarious beyond him.
Five of the Republican gubernatorial candidates were removed from the primary ballot over allegations of submitting fraudulent signatures.
One of the remaining gubernatorial candidates was sued for using slurs about Black people in the workplace and sexually harassing his employees. Another was arrested by the FBI for his involvement at the January 6th insurrection where he urged other rioters to storm the Capitol. Another is a chiropractor and self-help guru who pushed supplements he falsely stated treated COVID.
When people act like the modern GOP is salvageable I just can't help but laugh. These are the candidates the party is fielding.
