Ok, yesterday I wrote about my passion being Youtube and microstock.
Now let's go a little deeper into microstock. For those of you how don't now, microstock sites are places where you can go and sell your creativity like photo's, video's, illustrations, sound effects and even songs you've created.
There are many sites where you can sell your stuff. my favorite microstock sites are:
1-shutterstock
2-istock (getty)
3-fotolia (adobe stock)
4-dreamstime
5-pond 5 (especially for video)
There are more but let's just stick to these first.
The fun thing is you don't have to be a great photographer or videographer or whatever, you just got to have ideas.
Sometimes the most simple things are the things that sell the best. like this:
I called this one WHITE NOISE, because it simply is just white noise.
I took a picture of a tv screen showing nothing but white noise.
I sold this image on Shutterstock 297 times, makin' me 155$ for just this image on just this site alone.
So i would say, microstock is good business.
Ok let's stop here for today, there's more to come. just stay tuned.
thanks for reading and I hope you will find joy in microstock too.
