Understand the workings of the new markets and the degree of evolution of the Recruiting Process in light of current IT technological developments
The Human Resources Function in a given country may have different degrees of evolution, even within industries. And this will impacts how the candidate will run the search and manage the application processes.
Does the market is still using technology of the late 90's such as News Paper Adverts, Faxes and Portals Web 2.0?
Or the Markets are using Leading Technology as LinkedIn, ATS's/Corporate Career Centers or even bots as the new Vera
Never assume the markets work as in your country of origin. Make sure you do your due diligence to find out how it works. Take into consideration that you will always face three sectors: Multinationals, Local and Government Public Companies. Each sector will have different behaviors and expectations, and even they will change within markets /industries.
