Today I am celebrating a great milestone. I have reached 2000 followers on the STEEM platform!
I have been using social media sites since I was a little kid. From MySpace to FaceBook, Twitter to Instagram... I've been on them all. This is the first time I ever reached 2000 followers on a personal account. Although I don't believe STEEM is comparable to the traditional social media sites, I am still blown away by the amount of traction I have gained on this amazing, highly-utilizable blockchain.
I have met some amazing people during the short period of time that I have been active on this network. The humans of STEEM continue to inspire me on a daily basis. It seems the first people that joined this platform are some of the greatest people in the world. I am very glad that I found my way here and I look forward to the bright future of STEEM!
Recently I launched a new venture called #STEEMFoodTours. Good food is a big passion of mine and I love the community of food lovers on the STEEM platform. #STEEMFoodTours is a way to get rewarded by showcasing some of your favorite eateries. Write a restaurant review and enter it to the weekly #STEEMFoodTours contest for a chance to win STEEM! In the future I would like to create a database of reviews, ultimately creating a Yelp-style gateway to the STEEM blockchain.
