Today I crossed the magic 2,500 follower mark, and I just wanted to write a short thank you note to those of you who are following me! It's been a long time since I wrote a milestone post like this, but lately I have been having so much fun interacting with all of you who read and comment on my posts, so I decided that I should give you all some recognition.
2,509 followers at the moment. This is the Busy.org interface by the way.
I actually "leveled up" to reputation 67 today as well, which I am very happy about. I feel like I have been stuck at 66 forever, so it's great to finally get to one higher level. It's pretty nice that this happened at the same day as I got 2,500 followers.
Thank you for all the support
It means the world to me that you guys are reading, upvoting and commenting on my posts, and I would never be as motivated to make new content on such a regular basis if it had not been for the great community of people that sticks around! I can't believe that over 2,500 people have decided my content worth to follow, and it feels amazing to know that so many of you value what I do!
However, my favorite part is the fact that my comment section is getting very active, and my plan to build a thriving community seems to be working so far. I have gained lots of new perspectives on different topics by reading what you guys are actually thinking when you read my posts, and this has included some really interesting opinions and ideas that I would never have learned about in any other fashion. I'm looking forward to keep sharing ideas, concerns, solutions, misunderstandings, suggestions and everything else with you guys, and I hope more people join us as we grow bigger.
My future plans
Even while I have two and a half thousand followers, I have no intent to stop what I'm doing, and I'm finding myself thinking about my next Steem post all day long. I have made some exciting plans for the future, but I'm not 100 % ready to share it with you guys yet until I sort out all the details, but what I can say is that I am currently writing a roadmap for what I will try to accomplish on Steem(it) during 2018, and I think you will enjoy these plans once I'm ready to share them ;)
The roadmap is still some work away from being shareable, but I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm working hard with projects that I think you will enjoy, and of course I'm going to keep posting science news and funfacts/educational posts at the same pace as before.
