• Four Burmese soldiers were killed explosion on the road side in Mali. and 4 others seriously injured in mine • The blast happened on Wednesday at 2.30 pm local time. The blast took place while traveling along the road connecting the Bani and Dovertsa town of Modti area. The United Nations peacekeeping mission, Minusama, said more than 6 people were killed in that place just before the day. But it did not immediately reveal the identity of the deceased. The names of the victims were published in a press release from the Inter Service Public Relations of Bangladesh. The deceased were identified as Abul Kalam, warrant officer of HalpiPower, Lans Corporal Akhtar of Mymensingh, Raihan of Pabna and Jamal of Chapainawabganj. The injured are Corporal Russell of Naogaon, Akram of Rajbari, Newton of Jessore and Rashed of Kurigram. United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned the attack on Bangladeshi peacekeepers. He said the attacks against UN peacekeepers may be considered war crimes under international law. He claimed that t he attackers should be arrested and brought under trial. He also said that those who killed the Bangladeshi and Mali soldiers who carried out attacks like cowards would not be able to stop the United Nations mission in Mali. For the United Nations peacekee ping force, about 11 thousand missions across the whole Mali have been the most vulnerable. Because they are often attacked.
