👽400,000 Russian soldiers have now been killed in Ukraine as a result of Putin's insane war to try to restore the Great Russian Empire. Any one of the mothers of those 400,000 soldiers would tell the world that they couldn't care less about the Great Russian Empire. They want their son back. The Czar is absolutely blood-soaked. In just two years the whole world watched him kill 400,000 of his own people on global TV news.
If Putin could hop into a time machine and go back before the day he ordered the invasion, there would be no invasion. Putin may be stupid but he is not so brain dead that he would want to watch the sinking of the Moskva, Russia's beloved Black Sea Flagship, a second time. Better just to stay at home or relax on one of his multimillion dollar yachts and watch American war movies.
But it happened and now he is standing on the world stage with 400,000 dead Russians soldiers and a lot of crying mothers behind him and he has to continue pretending that the restoration of the Great Russian Empire is the most important thing, and nothing can be more important.
The rest of the world has moved on long past the Cold War. The history of Great Empires is boring Middle Ages stuff. (They didn't even have flush toilets back then.) We are in the space age now.
