The mind is everything. What you think you become - Buddha
You are a product of mental conditioning. You can be free but not behave like a free person. You can be wealthy and do not behave like a wealthy person.
I'm so concerned about Africa and Nigeria to be precise. I'm conscious of the fact that most people in our country at the moment feel helpless about their circumstances and that of the country.
The Big Question is
Are We Helpless, or is it that Victors are thinking like Victims
What you believe is what you become because what you believe will influence how you behave. If you believe you are poor, you will behave like a poor person, and if you believe that you are rich you will behave like a rich person, act like a rich person and ultimately you will produce the result.
I have found out that the difference between the rich and the poor is Internal, It is based on their mindset. The journey from rag and riches is based on mindset
I grew up in a middle-classed family and after some time, my dad lost his job and things went very bad, we experienced poverty. I can identify with most Nigerians who are experiencing deprivation because I have been through it. I experienced poverty in 3D, It was real. I understand what it is for an Average Nigerian who wants to brush his/her teeth to squeeze every ounce of paste out of the toothpaste tube; Squeezing from the bottom carefully so as not to miss anything, In fact I know what it is to put the brush into the opening to remove every atom of paste. I understand what it is to cut the tube open and remove every trace of paste. I understand what it is not to be able to afford toothpaste and put salt on brushes or better still go out to cut stick (chewing stick) you use to brush.
I understand what it is not to be able to eat twice daily and even go through all kind of physics like the ancient men who used to burn sticks to cook in order to have a manageable meal.
I know what it is to buy used cloth, what Nigerians call grade 1,2,3 (bend down and select).
But something changed about me
You might be thinking I hit a jackpot somewhere. Not really, what really changed was my thinking. I had to start thinking like a billionaire and that has changed my entire history.
The mind is everything. What you think you become - Buddha
Your environment can change but your behaviour still remains the same. Your external environment should not determine your inside. Though things were not really smooth, I realised that if I could not control my outside, I could control my thinking because my inner realities of today will become my outer realities of my tomorrow.
If you want to see a change, you need to start seeing things from a different perspective.
You are not yet a failure until you find someone to blame. Nigerians can blame everything and anything. We have developed and mastered the act of blaming the government for everything around us.
Whoever you blame for a situation is the one you have giving the power over your life
The government will not clean your house for you, the government will not paint your house for you and so many other. The most important things that affect your life are not things that the government will do for you.
I see The culture of blaming somebody as a weakness from slavery. Slavery breed poverty because a slave can not own anything. What ever property owned by a slave belongs to the master, So a slave cannot own anything including money.

Most Nigerians believe we are poor, we have a low self-esteem. Nigerians need to move above the poor standard of living.
We barely have an electrical power supply and we are putting up with it. Nigerians can put up with anything and we need to stop it. When we get a little power supply, we celebrate. Why are we celebrating Two hours electricity, is the company meant to produce light and darkness? Yet Nigerians are comfortable with it. We have a legendary way of putting up with low standards of living.
