I have the feeling that I changed my behavior in Steemit.
When I entered in late 2018 I was chasing quick cash. Frustrated by the complexity, in the beginning, it didn't hold me long here. After a couple of weeks, I gave it another try. I read so many posts on how to be successful on Steemit, how to create valuable content, how to get a lot of followers in a short period of time... You cannot imagine.
I think I was quite active for some time and already made some cool experiences. I joined for some time, which I really have to do again because the people are just great :) I got delegations because, in the beginning, it is really hard to contribute in this community. (Lack of resource credits)!! Thanks to

I learned to write a bit better than before. Since I tried to steadily increase my content quality. It all helped to be now here, where I am. The one thing that I still did is that I was looking for opportunities and topics which I considered to be valuable for this community. I want to make Steemit a better place for everyone and this is where I put my energy now :)
Then I had a break again and occasionally looked on my account. Interacted less with the community. My second quit, I guess. I was away for 2,5 months I believe, but now I returned with a different mindset.
I set the goal to interact with people, trying to spread value. I only post about something which interests me or where I have the right energy to contribute something with value. I have the feeling that in that way I am way more authentic and the success comes on its own.
I also do not care if I get successful here, but the whole experiment/time being on this platform makes a lot more fun now.
Lesson learned
I think the lesson I learned is that you should have fun here. Not chasing something, opportunities appear on its own. The less you care and the more you do what you feel like, the more successful you will get.
This is just a short post but in my opinion valuable enough for some of you.
Yours,
Max
