For awhile mining with any sort of Nvidia hardware was hard to make profitable compared to mining with the use of AMD cards primarily due to their memory bus being larger than Nvidia (for the most part) which made mining currencies like Ethereum and BTC much easier.
About 4 months ago I decided I would dip my toes into mining, but found it near impossible to acquire any AMD cards at a reasonable price. All I could find were Nvidia card with some great sales, so I decided to research various mineable cryptocurrencies.
After some initial research and trial with mining Siacoin, I came across LBC (Library Credits). LBC is incredibly easy to mine with Nvidia cards, with 1000MH/s earning you $6.258 USD a day at the current price of LBC during posting. With my transfer to LBC from SC, I was able to increase my profits up to 20% a day.
One of the advantages to LBC is that it looks like it's going to have a promising future with solid gains both short-term and long-term, especially so given that the Open Beta was just released.
