In Minneapolis (Minnesota) ist es zu einem tragischen Vorfall während einer Operation der Einwanderungsbehörde ICE gekommen.
Es existieren zwei diametrale Sichtweisen auf den Vorfall, der mich ein bisschen an den Fall von George Floyd erinnert.
Eine 37-jährige Frau habe laut Angaben der Behörden die Einsatzkräfte vor Ort behindert und sich deren Anweisungen widersetzt. Ein Versuch die Frau in ihrem Auto festzuhalten, scheiterte und sie fuhr ruckartig in Richtung eines ICE-Agenten, vermutlich um zu flüchten, und würde im Zuge dessen erschossen, um eine Gefahr für ICE-Beamte und andere abzuwenden.
Die andere Sichtweise (auf Wikipedia und CNN) ist, dass die Frau keine Anti-ICE-Aktivistin war, sondern sich lediglich zufällig in der Nähe der Operation aufgehalten habe und die Anweisungen der Beamten nicht verstanden hätte und eigentlich die Agenten nicht überfahren, sondern lediglich wegfahren wollte.
Denke so wie immer ist es ein wenig komplexer, die Wahrheit wird wohl irgendwo in der Mitte liegen.
Auf Videos ist jedenfalls zu sehen, dass ein Beamter das Fahrzeug bereits auf der Seitentür versucht hat anzuhalten, die Frau aber rückartig eher in Richtung eines anderen Beamten, der seitlich vor dem Auto stand, losfuhr und dann leicht nach rechts abdrehte. Dabei kam es zu einer gefährlichen Situation mit dem tragischen Ausgang.
Denke, die Frau, dessen Auto von ICE-Agenten umstellt war, hätte in dieser Situation nicht losfahren dürfen.
Andererseits haben wir zu wenig Hintergrund-Informationen, um wirklich sagen zu können, ob der Schussgebrauch gerechtfertigt war oder nicht.
Kann die Beamten jedenfalls verstehen, die in dieser schwierigen Situation vielleicht überreagiert haben, sehe aber eine Mitschuld der Frau, wenn es keine Notwehr war.
Denke es ist nicht klug sich in einem Auto, das potentiell als Waffe verwenden werden kann, sich Einsatzkräften zu widersetzen und eine ICE-Operation zu behindern.
ICE versucht illegale "Aliens" aus den USA zu schaffen, was keine einfache und oft auch undankbare Aufgabe ist, die von Aktivisten und woken Medien oft sabotiert wird.
Was denkt ihr? Warum ist die Frau in ihrem Auto nicht stehengeblieben? War sie eine Anti-ICE-Aktivisten, die sich bewusst in der Nähe der Operation aufgehalten hat, oder nur zufällig dort wie es auf Wikipedia suggeriert wird?

A tragic incident occurred in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an operation by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.
There are two diametrically opposed views of the incident, which reminds me a little of the George Floyd case.
According to the authorities, a 37-year-old woman obstructed the officers on site and resisted their instructions. An attempt to restrain the woman in her car failed, and she drove jerkily toward an ICE agent, presumably to escape, and was shot in the process to avert danger to ICE officers and others.
The other view (on Wikipedia and CNN) is that the woman was not an anti-ICE activist, but merely happened to be near the operation and did not understand the officers' instructions and did not actually intend to run over the agents, but only wanted to drive away.
As always, I think it's a little more complex than that, and the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.
In any case, videos show that an officer had already tried to stop the vehicle at the side door, but the woman suddenly drove off toward another officer standing to the side of the car and then turned slightly to the right. This led to a dangerous situation with a tragic outcome.
I think the woman, whose car was surrounded by ICE agents, should not have driven off in this situation.
On the other hand, we don't have enough background information to really say whether the use of force was justified or not.
In any case, I can understand the officers who may have overreacted in this difficult situation, but I see the woman as partly to blame if it was not self-defense.
I don't think it's wise to resist law enforcement and obstruct an ICE operation in a car that can potentially be used as a weapon.
ICE tries to remove illegal “aliens” from the US, which is not an easy and often thankless task, often even sabotaged by activists and woke media.
