What I wonder is: the massive use of bots will not destroy steemit? Slowly but surely will make the platform less credible. If I have no faith in the upvotes then the platform will seem fake and people will ditch it. Youtube had this problem 7-10 years ago and it messed up with their advertising model. For steemit there is the same sort of legitimacy problem. Think of it as a programming arms race: clever programmers circumvent the system, but youtube has a legion of nerds too.
Costant battle.
Steemit is small and vulnerable. It may survive, it may not. I think of steemit as an experiment.
Many of us are using bots and contributing to the ROT!
