Welcome to Minnows Bible Series where I will be sharing 'no hold barred, no bullshitting' tips for the growth of the minnows. I am thinking of dropping useful tips for the minnows (I am one also by general definition but I will be writing under divine inspirations..haha) twice a week which may turn to daily posts depending on how it goes and me (so you know, I am damn lazy).
My goal is to help raise as many dolphins, orcas and whales among my followers. Imagine me having a legion of them in my followers' list. This will be me down there.
Paying attentions to details is so crucial in every endeavour. That little detail can make a whole world of difference be it in sport, academic, relationship, business...even on Steemit. Many times we feel we should not bother ourselves with 'trivials', do what we are suppose to do and leave the rest to chance, mother luck or to God...whichever one you are cool with.
When it comes to posting on steemit, a lot of minnows feel the major thing is to write a 'great posts'(shout to the 'great post' crew) with a 'kick ass' title and the rest will take care of itself...maybe it will or probably it will not. In this series, i will be taking care of the little details and not leaving the big details
We all know how frustrating it can be to put in work to write a 'killer' post and not get rewarded with just 1 SBD...I have been there and still hang around.
Knowing how, when, even what to post can greatly increase your chance of getting more rewards for your posts.
Disclaimer : These tips are not the standard and does not guarantee success. I probably dont know what I am talking about. These are just some things I have tried or planning to use.
Constantly be in people's face.
I don't mean that in an annoying way. Let them take note of you even if your reputation is still 25.
And you can do that by being intense. The hardwork in Steemit is at the beginning before you get followers.
You have to let people know this new guy is not here to play...Let them be like 'Oh, this guy again, let me check him out'.
What I am saying is at beginning of your Steemit journey you have find a way of making at least 2 - 3 good posts everyday until your moniker is in people's head. If as a newbie, you were only posting 3 times a week and then you should not be complaining of Steemit not rewarding your great posts.
Wait, don't rush out and be making 10 posts per day. Before the above tip can work perfectly, you need to build a small following. I will say like 50 - 100 is okay and you can do that in few days. In another post of this series, I will be showing you how to get a lot of followers in no time.
You may have a great post, few people will check it out and some of them may not even upvote it. You may not get a lot of upvotes and comments because People don't know you yet. Did I hear say people don't need to know me? They sure need to...that is why at the very beginning you need to make a lot of sensible comments like your live depends on it. It gets you noticed and followed. Resteemed other people's posts because you will need them to do the same for you for more exposure...after getting yourself noticed and followed, you can start posting your 10 QUALITY posts per day if you can.
I have seen a lot of newcomers use this strategy to great effects. In their first 2 weeks they made a lot of posts plus comments. They posted like their being alive depends on it. Of course their posts and comments are of high quality. I don't know if I will be able to do what those guys did. (I told you I am lazy).
This gave them a lot of followers and of course rewards. I noticed they kind of cool off after that frenzy starts although their once or twice posting a day is still better than what a lot of newcomers are doing.
Also in this minnows bible series, i will show you how to make atleast two 'quality' posts everyday without stress. I will be using this advise myself if 'it' doesn't get best of me (you know what I mean now)
Please support this 'series'(yea..in quote for now) with your comments, resteem and upvotes. Even if your upvote is $0.00, it means a lot to me. It is a sign my contents are helping someone and that should be enough.
But let's do better than this.
Thank you for reading all the way down here.
