On June 15, I registered with STEEMit and on the 16th I was an Active member. Now, it has been 1 month since I started adding to the community.
Woo hoo!!
Let's see what I have accomplished.
I use the Steemit Board of Honor as a way to keep track of my activity as a Bone Fish/ Red Fish minnow. In a way, it was a guide on how I should interact on STEEMit. There are awards for being a 4 Articles a Day, 1 Article Each Day of Week and 1 Article Each Day of the Month. The Board has rewarded me 18 times for 4 Articles a Day and 4 times for 1 Article Each Day of Week. I haven't been on STEEMit for a full month, since I started mid-month in June. I have completed all the base awards, the First Payout being the longest wait to get. I think when I reach 1000 Posts and 1000 Rewards, I will make an image for my signature.
For the real stats, I head over to SteemDB and get my 30 Day History. As you can see, I have been doing a steady increase of Followers and Posts. One of those post gaps was due to the 48 Hour Film Project, which had me away from posting anything for a good amount of the time.
Followers is a steady growth. I have found that you can get a steady trickle of new followers if you continue to make good comments and posts, instead of just trying to follow everybody and asking everyone to follow you. I prefer to get my followers by earning their eyeballs. Of course, some people who give the best votes and comments aren't followers, which is fine by me as well.
Speaking of voting. I probably should do more myself, but I have decided to try to limit my voting, so that when I do give a vote, I can provide the most reward to the Author. I know some people say to vote down to your 80% level and then let it get back to 100%. Maybe when I have more STEEM Power, I will do that.
Speaking of STEEM Power. I have put almost every SBD and STEEM I've earned into boosting my STEEM Power. I got lucky around HF19 and got a big upvote, which helped grow my STEEM Power a lot. I have another big upvote coming in today, so that should push it up further. I'm surely not the most powerful minnow around, but I guess I'm not suffering in the murky shallows.

The last time I checked using Steem Whales, I was at #10020. Which, for around 25k Active users and 130,560 Steemians Tracked, isn't bad for 1 month.

My #765 ranking for Post counts is more impressive.
Where do I go from here?
I will continue to try to post 4 articles per day. When I post my articles, I will do more to provide original content to any videos, news or photos that I post that aren't originally mine. I think it is important that authors should provide commentary on why they are posting what they are posting. And of course, I will continue to post my own original videos and photos and general articles.
I will continue to leave comments on other articles I enjoy and reply to those who make comments on my articles. I think building a conversation on the article is important for building the community.
I will continue to put almost all of my earned SBD and STEEM into my STEEM Power. But, as my recent article SBD to STEEM a Market vs Conversion Discussion pointed out, I will switch back to the Conversion method and just wait it out. This is probably what everyone should do, for the long-term benefit of STEEM.
And, I will continue to share my Articles on Twitter and Facebook, in order to bring more users over to STEEMit.
How about you?
