Update on AAT Process
Things will start to move a little faster both on the enforcement and on the rehab side of things. Changes are being made to today, and I wanted to share that as well as lock the agreement into the chain.
When an account is found to be in violation and we need to remove their ability to receive further upvotes from our bot, we would mute them on the account.
Until now that has been done by the team leaving a name on a spreadsheet, along with a reason. Then, when the chance would arise, would have to come in and check the file, updating the mutes for the accounts in question. The same for any un-mutes for people who have changed their ways and are ready to gain back the ability to use our bots.
This has been slow and a bit inconvenient for , and today we are fixing that.
This changes nothing of the actual process, just makes it happen faster.
Official bits for the record:
As of today, per an agreement between me () and
of the Minnow Support Project, I have been given the ability to directly affect the 'Blacklist' on
. This translates as the ability to Mute/Un-mute an account there.
To do this, I have been given the Private Posting key for , and this post serves as both a notice of this to the chain, and an agreement.
I agree to not use this key to effect any change outside of mute/un-mute on the account without the express permission of .
I have access to MSP3K, our curation tool for any other change I am allowed to make as a Senior Moderator. That tool is regulated and tracked.
This is only for the purposes of being able to quickly address the abuse as I see it happen and to speed the rehabilitation of members who need to be removed from the Blacklist there.

If you have any questions about the Anti-Abuse Team or it's process contact me via Discord at either MSP or MSP-Probation.
