on this chain, your VP stops regenerating when it hits 100%. it waits for your power to be nearly full, this waste is prevented to support the group.
how is this determined
the person with an available post whos voted the most and received the least gets the next vote, if you post every so often you should be able to get what you can get from it. when youre behind, you will get more votes, when youre overpaid, it will spread to other users a bit first, you will get all your outstanding votes as fast as possible so if you have to leave your computer for a while, you can come back and your account will catch up.
letting it vote and keeping posting maximises your rewards
