It was during my college days. I was torn between attending the class for that day (it is only a one subject btw) or accept the sideline(work)given by a relative. It is just a one day work but it will consume the whole day.
I really need money that time, so I took the risk of not getting into the class and accepted the work offer. Even though I know that I will have a hard time catching up with the lessons. Plus, I could probably miss some activities if they will have one.
After that day, I immediately asked my classmates what they did. And guess what, our professor did not come. He had a prior commitment. Probably they had a meeting.
Well that is the time that I can say I was lucky. I managed to get money from work and I did not miss any school activities and attendance.
