Last night Rory Macdonald took the Welterweight belt from Douglas Lima via unanimous decision. It was a close fight, with Rory sustaining some nasty leg kicks. Moving from the UFC to the Bellator promotion allowed Rory to pick his own sponsors. Featuring prominently on his clothing before, during and after the fight was DASH. One of the best cryptocurrencies out there in my opinion in terms of tech, community, governance and usage (alongside Steem of course). Rory was sponsored with 330 Dash equivalent to $268k today. A proposal was put forth to Masternode miners, those who hold 1000 Dash who can vote on payments directly from the blockchain.
