I finished first in my last expedition! The one I’m currently on the Meat and Mead guild is in 4th. The other guilds are more powerful and breeze through it. My resources are currently stretched at the moment. I’m trying to expand my empire and advance the technology all of which blows through coins and supplies. I don’t have any forge points left over to contribute to my friends’ great buildings. I continue to clean house with the summer casino game they're running. I picked up another luau but I don’t have room for it.
Production and military buildings require people so I’ve been replacing the last of my Iron Age homes with more from the Early Middle Ages. I need to save up coins and supplies because I want crossbows. My archers are not cutting it anymore. I have the room for the building but I’m strapped for resources. Despite that I’m progressing at steady pace. I don’t think I’ve mentioned the badges that I’ve been racking up. It’s a way of acknowledging certain milestones players reach.
I would be further along in the game if I was willing to pay with real cash for things like diamonds. That’s the main reason why I stopped with Pokemon Go. Unless you are right next to a Stop or Gym you need to spend money so the game became way to frustrating. I’m not speeding through the ages like I was in the first two weeks but I’m growing without spending and I don’t have to be on my phone all the time. I could build more resources that way but it becomes tedious having to check every five minutes. I’ve worked out a time frame that suits me best. I visit my friends’ taverns and cities, I check the markets for goods, and I see if I can push my technology forward.
