This is my entry for today for the #monomad black-and-white photochallenge, originally started by :
One of the things I always enjoyed about our visits to both Sedona, Arizona and Joshua Tree, California is the "big skies" and cloudscapes you see in the high desert.
This was taken a July afternoon with an incredibly deep blue sky and a "Monsoon Season" storm brewing. The contrast between the clouds, the red rocks and the indigo sky was amazing, and translated quite well to a black-and-white image.
(Sunday topic: Skies)
Hope you have had a beautiful weekend!
