A drive yesterday morning took us to the region's capital. The hubby couldn't be happier as he's got two mischievous creatures for company, so his delivery trip wasn't boring😅
We ate lunch halfway through the journey. Yongi was in a different mood, so he growled at a guy at the next table. The man laughed, saying my little bodyguard is feisty. It would have been good to have recorded the exchange, but I left my phone in the truck.
Anyway, we reached the warehouse past 2 pm, passing through the ever-producing Strawberry Fields of La Trinidad (although they grow not only strawberries, but also leafy veggies like lettuce, romaine, green ice, etc). The rows of tunneled greenhouses and mulched fields are quite a view. We once lived nearby for a year after we came back from overseas, but the loud neighborhood had us abandon ship for the quieter countryside.
The stock house was busy as always, so we waited for our turn. And while there, some reflections showed up right before the accustomed eyes. Gray clouds, blue sky, and part of the building were mirrored on the SUV's rear windshield.
Minutes later, the sun came through, dispersing the gray clouds and shining brightly like a light bulb.
We moved forward, and images of water tanks and their stands showed up in a truck's tinted glass. As I was taking a snap (discreetly), the driver rolled the window down, hence, only one photo, lol!
We waited for another hour while the boys unloaded our delivery. Then we rushed to the construction supplies center to pick up our purchases (iron pipes, PVCs, and such). Thankfully, we made it there barely 10 minutes before their closing time (5 pm). We refilled the gas tank afterwards and went on our way back home, stopping a couple of times along the way for other supplies, and of course, dinner.
By 9 pm, we were at Papa's place to drop off his supplies and by 10:30, we arrived in DD. Quite a drive that was!
