Magandang buhay💛
The new week started on a funny note. The hubby drove away early (4 am) with U (one of the boys) for a delivery. An hour into their drive, I discovered he had left his wallet on top of the table. He was driving to the city without his license and money, LOL! So I rang Mister U to inform them, but couldn't reach him. So I called the husband directly.
"Whaaaaat?" He exclaimed. "Well, just be careful. You would be okay as long as you don't draw the police's attention," I said, laughing. It's the Lenten season, though, which means traffic enforcers could be everywhere, maybe even the Highway Patrol Group (no excuses for them; they have the authority to impound any vehicle if driven without a license).
To cut a long story short, he sent U back to take it with a God-sent (borrowed) motorbike. It was a lot quicker that way. It cuts the travel time. What would have taken me over an hour drive only took Mr. U thirty-seven minutes. He is so damn good!
So they are back on track, traversing the treacherous Halsema Highway by now. Meanwhile, the LilGuy and I will be having a really laid-back Monday here in DD. We have had a tiring yet fulfilling weekend (Mom's anniversary), so we hope to refuel for tomorrow (my two nieces' graduation and a big celebration will follow).
Thankfully, it's quiet here. Except for some OPM songs playing in the distance, the street below is pretty empty. People might be saving their gas for important errands. The barking we often hear nearby is no more. Maybe they finally released the poor dog from his leash, and he is now enjoying the adventure elsewhere. Or perhaps they took him inside their house, where he feels more comfy (hopefully).
So a lovely Monday we shall have!
