Welcome to a new series by moi, Princess of All Mew Mews. When you have a curious mind like I do, you are constantly plagued by strange thoughts... Like, why do mosquitoes exist? What is their purpose in our ecosystem?
So, I decided to start this curious little series and share tidbits of info I come across.
Today's Question Is:
WHY DOES IT FEEL LIKE YOUR STOMACH IS IN YOUR THROAT WHEN YOU ARE ON A ROLLERCOASTER?
I came across this question while watching a movie where a kid puked his lungs out (not literally 😅) after going on one of those crazy fun park rides. I wondered where the saying puke out your lungs comes from, and I found out some crazy info!
THE ANSWER:
It feels like your stomach is in your throat, well, because it actually is! Okay, okay, not quite - but your organs that are loose; stomach and intestines; actually do move around a little. CRAZYYY, right?
