Hello,

like almost every Monday I introduce you to a trance project. Why on Mondays? Because Monday is the #mondaytrance, #tag introduced by Hive account@andyjaypowell.

Today I will talk about Jam & Spoon (for my friend Hive account@uwelang), a duo that unfortunately does not exist because one of the members has died. The duo consisted of Jam El Mar (Rolf Ellmer) and Mark Spoon (Markus Löffel) and was founded in 1991. With the death of Mark Spoon in 2006, the project was dissolved. The cause of death was heart failure.

Their first album was BreaksUnit1 and was launched in its founding year.

In 1992 Stella came out as a single, which was also the first major success of the two.

Heute werde ich über Jam &Spoon berichten (für mein Freund Hive account@uwelang), ein Duo das es leider nicht mehr gibt weil einer der Mitglieder verstorben ist. Das Duo bestand aus Jam El Mar (Rolf Ellmer) und Mark Spoon (Markus Löffel ) und wurde 1991 gegründet. Mit dem Tod von Mark Spoon in 2006 wurde das Projekt aufgelöst. Die Todesursache war Herzversagen.

Ihr erster Album war BreaksUnit1 und wurde im Gründungsjahr auf den Markt gebracht.

Im Jahr 1992 kamm Stella als Single raus, welche den zwei auch das erste größere Erfolg war.

The biggest success came in 1993, with the single Right in the Night released directly after Stella. The voice comes from Plavka, a Croatian-American singer who has accompanied many songs.

Der größte Erfolg kam 1993, mit der Single Right in the Night die direkt nach Stella veröffentlicht wurde. Die Stimme kommt von Plavka, einer Kroatisch-Amerikanischer Sängerin die auf vielen Lieder begleitet hat.

Also the following single, Find Me (Odyssey to Anyoona) was recorded together with Plavka.

In 2000, appeared my favorite song from them, The Chase. It is a remix of the original by Girorgio Moroder - the father of Italodisco, at the end of the '70s released song.

Jam & Spoon also had a fruity collaboration with Rea Garvey from Reamonn.

Also Dolores O'Riordan, who unfortunately died recently, had a collaboration with Jam & Spoon for a song.
