I ignore the reason, but price of STEEM DOLLARS is much higher in polo than bittrex... So if you are about to convert your sbd, do it in poloniex!
Exchanges behaviour is always a bit difficult to understand, so the more information when deciding what to do with our cryptos, the better for us all..
