One of my first videos back from Niagara Falls and I get kicked out of Walmart. Out of all rebellious places. It couldn't have been a GUCCI store or a ROLEX shop. It just happened to be a Walmart. After I get kicked out, I find some shade and continue filming about something that has bothered me for a long time. That is our educational system. Is there anywhere in the world that teaches kids how to properly handle their finances? Any public schools out there in this entire planet that actually equips the future generation of using debt in a wise way, teaching them to not save, but invest. Educating them about the horrible impact of inflation? The role of education has changed so much in the few centuries. Children used to be taught valuable life skills at home. Now parents send them off to be brainwashed into corporate slavery. They're basically taught to be slaves of the corporate world. In fact, most kids who did not do well in school are the ones who end up becoming business owners. Steve Jobs. Mark Zuckerberg. Bill Gates. Should we go on? The skills to probably handle money and survive in a dog eat dog world are not taught in school. They teach them geography. We're taught history. We're even taught how to feed a plastic baby. We learn how to type (so we can go and write e-mails for some giant conglomerate). Then what the media does is paint business men as evil greedhogs who steal from the people. Business minded people actually game the system. They're the ones thriving because they took the red pill. They exited the matrix into real life.
We should all do our part in finding a way to extend financial education to the masses. That's what people really need. They need to be taught to fish. All the education system does is give them bread. So that we keep coming back for more.
