After close to 15 years starting several different businesses, I learned this lesson the hard way. What I thought, and what most people think is that a business is something that you own. In fact, that's a practice. My cousin who is a doctor has a practice. She doesn't have a business. Because if she doesn't go to the clinic and serve her patience, she doesn't get paid. My friend who's an accountant who has his own accounting firm has a busyness. He's the only accountant in the firm and he's always business. My other friend who has a furniture store that employs around 100 people has a business. He can visit me here in Toronto while his company still earns money and $$$ goes to his bank account. That's a business. Let's talk about it in more detail in this video.
