Is it just me or do people not reply on Steemit unless there's incentive? I am starting to see this more and more. I kind of feel like people are on a high horse here and it really is not attractive. Not everybody is but it seems like people are using a lot of reverse psychology to get shares, upvotes, and more followers. I mean I know it may not look like much but I kind of just want to talk shit on everybody that says I can't do what they are doing. I've worked multi level marketing jobs and the environment is cancerous. A few people win by taking advantage of others emotions of wanting what they have and share in edited videos. Believe me behind the camera is a much different picture. The whole thing is smoke and mirrors. Its all an act. I really hope Steem doesn't turn into something like that Ive heard a few people talk about steemit having a referral program they talk about it excitingly for me I'm not going to play that game. I'm not going to sit around and say I don't need to rely on people while simultaneously relying on people to earn money.
Now some people have called me out and said that is not what the steem blockchain is about but I'm seeing a lot of bad apples that you can tell want it to be like that. I'm sure if they had it their way they would. Ive been real hesitant to speak my mind on Steemit in fear of being silenced or "downvoted" I'm pretty sure that feeling is not going to go away. A whale could out me at anytime that is how this has been designed. I don't even have to be wrong they can just not like what they are hearing and I'm gone.
The whole thing is still pretty interesting because I could also theoretically "get paid" from this exact post.
