What is fiat money?
Fiat money is money whose value comes from government regulations or laws. This money is different from commodity money based on goods, which is usually a precious metal such as gold or silver. This term comes from the Latin word fiat ("let it be," "will be").
My opinion on fiat money
Ever since I learned about fiat money, for the first time it seemed as if I was disappointed and realized how stupid I had been to trust fiat money.
As a child there is no explanation about fiat money, we automatically make transactions with fiat money because that's what is applicable in the community.
On the one hand I hate fiat money, because fiat money is a source of trouble in my life, but on the other hand because I am subject to government law I have to use this fiat money.
Unlike the precious metals that have intrinsic value in them, fiat money is only backed up by government regulations, imagine if the government goes bankrupt what will happen?
The real example of the event is Greece, where fiat money is useless because of the chaos in the system of government there.
Another reason why I really hate fiat money because I envy the fiat money maker, they do not need to bother to earn money, just print and then circulate it, very easy right?
Dilemma
The really silly thing I experienced was hating fiat money, but needing it too
How about you?
