Hello, Steemians! For my 1st #MoneyMints post, I would like to share this great idea by Peso Sense "IPON CHALLENGE 2018" on how to teach us to save, even children can do this so adults have no reason at all not to save! :-)
This is actually a very fun way to teach our children how to save money. All they have to do is shade or mark the corresponding denomination. They can do it every day, weekly or monthly etc., as long as they can completely shade and save money the whole year. If they are able to finish it early before the year ends, do it again and save even more the better!
I used this method with my son and he learned the value of money at a young age. It teaches him discipline, focus, and have goals that he can buy what he wants before the year ends. This way, he is motivated to save because he has something to look forward to. It is an effective method and I highly recommend it to every parent!
NOTE: Just don't be tempted and never to touch the money. Keep it out of reach from anybody. My advice, deposit the amount saved in a bank every week or better yet invest it to earn more interest.
