Someone dropped a comment in one of my Twitter post, asking me why they've been struggling to Monetize their content on YouTube. So I decided to check their YouTube account and discovered a few things they needed to work on.
I replied them pointing out these things and told them to send me a DM if they'll like further help from me.
They had a decent content niche, they just needed to work on some things and tweak their titles to be optimized enough for the YouTube algorithm, but then never replied back.
I was actually willing to help them for free, and see how far the account can go. This way I can actually get to test out some of my theories and these things I've been learning regarding YouTube content creation and monetization since January, unfortunately they didn't send me that DM.
Don't miss out because of ignorance
This is actually one of the signals I use to measure seriousness in people.
A few weeks back I also met someone on Hive who was good with crypto trading and automation and I pitched my ideas to them, I saw that they weren't willing to work with me, or weren't enthusiastic enough, so I let them be.
Business, life & Partnership
When it comes to business, money, goals and partnerships people must share equal affinity, desires and hunger if they're going to have a successful partnership. One person cannot be hungrier than the other, else the partnership become one-sided which will eventually kill the business idea.
I'm a goal, family, friendship and business oriented person. I've lost partnerships, friendship and affiliation simply because of lack of desire from the other party.
Sometimes we need to know whether the other party actually wants the same thing we want; are they as passionate, are they dreaming big, are they concentrated about values the way you are?
Aura For Aura
This is the same with every human interactions and relationships.
Meeting people who are not on the same wavelength with you is bad for growth. Reciprocity is an important aspect of partnerships and it's better to walk your journey alone rather than having people who do not care or who are not committed to the cause.
You cannot force people to see things the way you do
The same with forcing people to love your ideas, goals and dreams, this is why life and business is a continuous search for mutuality, sameness, understanding and equality.
There are people who are as passionate as we are, the understanding the importance of making money, they are seeking for partnerships, they know the drill, they understand the assignment, but they're hard to find because they're not within reach infact they're not a lot of them and you're out here hoping and wishing you can meet someone like that.
Dreams can be built with the right effort
As a person with a lot of dreams and goals I've had this medical condition that limits me, and sometimes I try to partner with other to build a business or grand or bring an idea that can make us money.
I've tried that and it hasn't worked a lot. The last person I did it with cheated me of all the money we made, violated our agreements and took advantage of all my efforts.
However we know that most times businesses requires different forms of skillset, to grow something, formidable, different people would need to put in a fair share of their quota and contribution.
The only problem is building these things with people who do not have the same integrity, plans, work rate and even commitment.
This is why it's important to never lose the right people, whether it's for business or whatever. Not everyone will experience what it means to have, know and build with them (the right people)
