There are now coins that generate value from smartphone farming. Smartphone Farming which is fairly new bares a resemblance to cryptocurrency mining. They function similarly to mining rigs. The advantages they have are they consume alot less power.

Companies and businesses have began to collect and use these devices to generate advertising revenue as well as mine cryptocurrencies. Some of the companies such as Perk have also released debit cards which instantly transfer any earnings on to a major credit card processor. This is very convenient for smarphone farms.
