Recently I came across a small treasure chest: a box filled with old (as in out of circulation) Swedish coins, 1 krona and 5 kronor, with mintage years spanning from 1973 to 2009. My first instinct was to put up a lot for sale on eBay, but then I thought better of it.
Why not help make STEEM into a currency of real-world commerce, by offering these physical pieces of money tokens (albeit no longer used) for SBD and STEEM?
AND it can be a nice souvenir from Sweden that you can show off to your friends! ;)
So I decided to put up these coins for sale. One coin goes for 4 STEEM or 5 SBD, whichever you prefer. The shipment costs are on me. If the coin doesn’t reach your address within 4–6 weeks (depending on your location), I will fully refund your purchase, no questions asked. You can choose between 1 krona and 5 kronor. 5 kronor is slightly larger and features the royal sigil of the Swedish king Carl XIV Gustaf (who is a Head of State in Sweden at present time). 1 krona is the smaller one and most of them features the current king’s portrait. Three older 1 krona coins (all three from 1973) feature the king’s grandfather, our Old King, Gustaf VI Adolf. And one coin from 2009 has a special design to commemorate 200 years since Russian Empire took Finland away from Sweden. Sadly, none of these two coins contain any precious metals…
