You don’t need to look very hard to find statistics showing that the economy and the stock market are disconnected. Perhaps there are times in history where these two are quite in sync. Right now however, it’s not even close. The economy never recovered from the 2008 Financial Crisis. It’s clearly present with this one ever worsening statistic.
