Amazing what you see on the streets of the world these days and we look at them and say to ourselves how beautiful is that what a creative mind but what we really are asking ourselves is what is the purpose what is the meaning of this sculpture or statue.
Well it turns out to be Gongkan, the "Teleport" young artist from New York, to a solo exhibition in Bangkok known as Gongkan his real name is Kong-Kantaphon Metheekul nationality Thai but when to New York at his early twenties working for advertising as a creative artist but he found himself blocked in every way from society ,language, ethnicity, connection so he came up with the idea of imagine Teleport as the freedom that we can get out of the world thus followed his success as a Teleport artist and sculpture.
Teleport is a form of artwork that makes people feel of going to better places it's part of what makes people feel that way Where should I go. Teleport art not only interprets just about wanting to go somewhere but been where we want to be and been mentally independent.
Sometimes the world is not livable. There is a dark story. Self-destructive Caused by intolerance of gender inequality Meaning the person who rules that this sex must be discriminated against This nation must be racist. Although we should measure each other as good or better These people have narrow ideas. Teleport is like opening the door of his mind. Take the idea to another point. As for war or conflict, if we are open-minded to understand others, not selfish Anything that destroys the world will come to help create the world.
Gongkan Teleport main expression in his art work is telling us don't hate love each other because we don't know how long we'll be in this world and the world is getting worse every day so what Kong-Kantaphon Metheekul is saying the people who hate each other the most to kiss each other and make this a better world.
