Monochrome Monday - towers

For this week I will focus on towers and things going up, Starting with this shot of the Crane near Penn Street Station, Working on a new Building, and you can see some other new Construction in the area through the low clouds in the background.

And this second shot is of a tower near the entrance coming in from the Long Island Sounds to the various Marinas in Milford CT, it is I believe a tower to guide in boats returning to the Harbor, and at night has a flashing light that can be seen by the boats I would presume.

I am thinking it may also be a radio beacon as you can see a couple of little antennas as well
