Many of you are asking me how I made the Ride my bike series.
These are my trade secrets.
At first I had to find a good quality, heavy and stable bike.
What could be stronger than a postman's bike?
Then a blacksmith friend made and welded two metal parts on the front carrier.
These "legs" are designed to receive Teflon clamps.
The goal is to install a camera tripod, in fact it's a selfie stick!
Many adjustments are necessary for the stability of the pinhole and
for framing.
The poses are 40 minutes long and it is absolutely essential that nothing moves.
The pinhole is equipped with frames to insert instant films
or negatives.
Now, all that's left is to do hours of testing, ride on the streets and capture the lights of my sleepless nights.
