Father and Daughter

I took this photo shortly after sunset on Christmas Day (last evening) at the beach in Oceanside, California. That's my son-in-law and granddaughter setting off to explore tide pools and kelp. The low tide was so extreme that we actually half-considered that a tsunami might be on the way. There was no tsunami, and we had a great, wide beach to walk along and share the beauty before heading back to a delicious Christmas meal, cooked by those two explorers. Nothing they found on the beach, just pork, pupusas, rice and corn. Yummy. What a great Southern California Christmas day!
