Once in the spring the sun rose in the morning, washed with the warm rain and went for a walk in the sky. Looked down - what good land! And the forests and the meadows are all green, every blade of grass blossoms. Still, something is missing.
"What else to come up with?" - asked the Sun himself. "How to please people?"
He waved his golden sleeve - the dust of the sun splashed on the ground and glowed in the meadows, yellow yellow lights - dandelions on the paths. They look like me! - delighted the Sun.
And the angry Winter nearby hid in a deep forest. She heard the Sun laugh, and looked quietly out of her hiding place. And in the grass, there were many and many small sunshine glows.
Oh, and Winter got angry here! She waved her silver sleeve and dusted merry lights with snow. And she went far to the North.
Since then, dandelion brothers have been swaying: first in a yellow dress and then in a white fur coat.
You guessed it, this is my entry to daily Monomad photo contest created by .
When my daughter Nat was a little girl, children's poems about dandelion were our favorites.
This is a colored version of the photo. Just in case you need some green today :o)
