This is my 24th post for the Steemit Monthly Author Challenge, an initiative by 
Day 24: 1968 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale
The North American International Auto Show is in full swing in Detroit and I snapped this photo of the most expensive car in the world... on display along side new releases and concept cars.
One of only 18 ever built, including 5 concept cars, this stunning 1968 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, is a 2-door, rear mid-engine (V8 DOHC), rear wheel drive, sports coupé with a 6-speed manual shift.
0-60 in 5 seconds and with a top speed of 161 mph, in 1968 it was the fastest commercially available car... if you could afford it.
In 1968 the purchase price was $17,000 with the average cost of a new car being $2,822. Today she's valued at over $10,000,000...
Simply gorgeous... the lady in red.
