I am not big on "conspiracies" as such. But I hate being lied to.
Between 1969 and 1972, NASA claimed that they managed to transport men to the moon and back again six times. They recorded the walks, both with television and photographs, and as the missions progressed, they became more and more mobile and got around to shoot pictures from different "scenic" locations.
On Apollo 15 they supposedly landed near a magnificent formation on the Moon´s surface called Hadley Rille. It is a canyon carved out long ago by a stream of lava simply melting a rille in the rock which created a kind of canal. The rille is much akin to a groove on a vinyl record I think. It looks like it was carved out somehow. Very strange feature.

In the NASA photo above, notice the soft contours on the mountain range shadows at the bottom. This does not indicate sunlight but a very much smaller "model", lighted with artificial lights. The surface of the moon looks more like fluffy powdered dust, than a scarred, bolder rich crater-field.

When you look at this photograph taken a few years earlier in "preparation" of the "landing", it is a completely different story. There is no way in hell, those photographs are of the same object, even if we adjust for the angle and different shadows etc. Specifically the shadows are much sharper on the second photo, which are in line with what would be expected from a sunlit surface in vacuum. And there is none of that "fluffy", un focused feel to it.
Cut out from another shot from the "fluffy" series (www.hq.nasa.gov)
According to an official report prepared by the Geological Survey for NASA, the width of the rille is about 2 km wide (give and take) or 1,25 miles. The rille varies in depth, but is about 300 m deep at the deepest point fairly in the middle of it.
It also shows how the lunar rovers supposedly traversed the rocky, sorry fluffy, surface and where the photographs were taken on various stations along the track.

One particularly spectacular shot showed the lunar rover and an astronaut with a view down the rille from a bit up the "St. George crater"-hill behind the turning rille. This would have been a jaw-dropping view ... a canyon 2 km wide and 300 meters deep at least. Something not too unfamiliar to Grand Canyon.
To compare the scientific dimensions to a place on earth that is better known, the rille has been superimposed over a map of Manhattan.
It gives a good idea of how extraordinarily wide and deep this rille is. If you compare it to central park, the green rectangle in the upper middle of Manhattan, it is a good approximation to say that they are about the same width (in fact the Rille is wider)

If you take a look at this photograph (taken from the Empire State Building I believe), it gives you an idea of what we are supposed to be looking at when we see a photograph of Hadley Rille. And if an astronaut and a rover were placed in the field of view the sheer size of the rille would dwarf them in comparison.
This is what Nasa claims is that shot ! It is ridiculous to say the least. The dimensions are completely fake compared to any decent interpretation of what it should look like. Even small rocks can be seen way down the rille, that should be absolutely impossible to see.
