Sutherland Planetarium visit.

It is now almost 2 months back that my wife and I went on our road trip. One of the last stops we made was in the town of Sutherland.

This town is famous for being the coldest town in South Africa and it also has the largest telescope in the Southern Hemisphere!! Read more about Sutherland by clicking here.

We went to visit the planetarium where we had the opportunity to look at various stars and constellations through some strong telescopes.

The two photos were taken with my cell phone, through the telescope.

The guide was very knowledgeable and it was great to listen to him and look at what he had to show us.

As I said, Sutherland is the coldest town in South Africa and it was in winter thus we were dresses for the cold. We enjoyed our visit to the planetarium tremendously.
