Moon Over NWS Installation
I shot this photo from about two miles away from the NWS installation, using a long lens. The "large moon" perspective occurs because moving away from a near, small object (the weather station) reduces its apparent size much more than moving away from a far, large object.
The image was processed for dynamic range and local contrast in Aperture and WinImages; otherwise, it is unedited.
