I was in a classroom at church this evening and a guy stated how he felt that after wwII many people lived a hyporicital livestyle in there home life. That put a sour smell in the nostrils of many of there children who were the baby boom generation. And many baby boomers live godless livestyles in there early years. So the children of the baby boomers (who are many of us here on steemit) many of whom grew up in a society that thumbed there noses at the idea of anything existing higher than ourselves.
I happen to agree with much of that guys assessment, I simply say that many of the baby boomers droped the ball!
I hate this cesspool that people refer to as our culture and I refuse to pass it on to my children.
Many people have already realized the fact that they have inherited the wind, and in the comming months many more will wake up to see the foundation that they have stood upon crumbeling. People have been taught that there is no such thing as true North.
Look at society (if it were not so scary then it would be funny) people do what is right in their own eyes. If we were talking about flying an airplane we would say that the plane stalled.
In fluid dynamics, a stall is a reduction in the lift coefficient generated by a foil as angle of attack increases (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stall_(fluid_mechanics)
"Dead man walking" is a phrase used to convey that a person is in some sort of trouble and has no hope of escaping punishment. This phrase is an idiom, which is a word or phrase that is used expressively rather than literally.
Stop living only for yourself. I used to know someone that worked in a cassinio. I was told that often older people would go and gambel because after living a selfish life, they would realize that they had no one left in there life to spend there money on.
