I think people have a problem with certain terms that they have attached a relative meaning to based on their personal experiences.
I find it interesting that, as a man studying science, you speak so much of "belief".
Let's drop the terms "morality and "rights" and replace them with "cause and effect". Do you agree that within our reality if you perform specific actions you in turn get a specific result? Do you agree that energy is not destroyed, but transferred?
People need to get over themselves and realize that these concepts are represented in the grossest laws of our reality. If you instigate a specific cause, you will get the related effect - every time. If you follow a recipe for a cake it will become a cake.
Many call it right and wrong, in science it has been called; polar opposites, higher and lower vibrations, positive and negative, etc. Do you not "believe" that energy can resonate at a higher frequency? Can life-forms not attain states of existence that are more conducive to growth and evolution?
You are missing the whole point of Alchemy and the Philosophers Stone if you do not understand the basic building blocks of our reality and how our actions (what we transfer energy into, and what level that energy is vibrating at) effect cause in the physical realm.
We can debate this all day. I have incorporated this information into my life and tested it's validity (spiritual Alchemy), but of course have far to go and am not implying I am above anyone. Is "belief" preferred above knowing?
If you have not already, I suggest expanding your study into Hermetics.
Here is a great lecture on Natural Law
Are you willing to detach from current beliefs and consider, research further and test this for yourself?
If you can picture consciousness manifested according to Natural Law, it would expresses as a wave, or "helix" pattern. It expands out from a point into individuated (separated) consciousness and meets back in again in the lower (physical realm). As we are in the physical realm, this manifestation takes on a physical form (if you will) as our shared realty. Me and you are physically separate, but if I throw a rock at your head and it hits you, you will be effected. That is how we are physically "one".
All energy, DNA, the planets, move in this sin wave or double helix pattern. How could consciousness, an expression of energy, be any different?
"...life is wholly subjective and one can never force their will upon others, even the righteous."
If you can not see the evidence of will (energy) being imposed on others, I don't know what to say. Will is force. The stronger force always influences the lesser force - always. This is science that has been turned into abstract philosophy.
I will gladly consider any evidence to support the ideas you have presented here.
