I am here to share my experiences during the Eid al-Fitr holiday 1440 H / 2019. This year I went on vacation to Banda Aceh, Aceh Province.
There I visited my brother to increase brotherhood, this is commonly done for adherents of Islam before the Eid al-Fitr. Besides visiting relatives there I also went to several tourist attractions there.
Baiturrahman Great Mosque is one of the locations that can be visited there. The mosque, which is a tourist icon in Banda Aceh, is no stranger to tourists. It's not complete to Banda Aceh if you don't visit this mosque.
In addition to the place of worship, what can be done here is to enjoy the beauty of the building or its architectural style and study its history, especially since the occurrence of the 2004 Earthquake and Tsunami Events.
Things that need to be considered if you want to go there is to use sharia clothing. There is also a large parking lot on the ground floor and well-maintained shoe storage. And there is a giant umbrella in the courtyard of the mosque that can avoid the hot sun and rain.
Don't forget, if you go to Banda Aceh, visit the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque. Take some photos as a memento.
