My most embarrassing moment, hmmn..... I'm shy toshare it but I will nonetheless.
It happened a decade plus ago while I was still in secondary school, I actually attended public secondary school, Ibadadan Grammar School, Molete,Ibadan precisely.
The sun was high, it was around 3:00pm I guess and I was waiting for my big sister as she was having her afternoon lesson.
I was bored and energetic, back the I like to explore(I still do now but with much sense), so I walked a little farther from where I'm meant to be, just for the fun of it.
As a bored teenager, my passion for adventure was very intense, so I decided to rest because the sun was scorching and I was kinda hungry.
I sighted a huge tree with green leaves and I thought using it as a shade would be a nice thing to do.
On getting to the tree, and feeling how cool and comfortable it is, I had a change of heart(I wished I had not)
I decided rather than sit under the tree which is at the bottom, I could go higher and enjoy first hand treat.
I dropped my bag, pulled of my sandals and my white shirt (we use white shirt and brown short) because I didn't want it to get dirty.
I found my way up to the tree after much struggle. Finally, I wiped my sweats and relaxed to enjoy the fruit of my labour. I felt fulfilled.
It wasn't long enough that my expectation was cut short as a teacher walked by and spotted me on the tree though I had no knowledge I was being watched.
He gallantly walks to the tree and took my shirt along with my bag and sandals and walked away, I spotted him as and immediately dashed down the tree, I began to beg profusely but all my pleas fell on his deaf ears.
After so much I finally gave up and left in shame. It was so bad I had to walk bare footed and shirtless home, the unfortunate thing is my place was a lot much farther from school. I've never had such an embarrassing experience since that day.
