Hello my friends! I would like to share the embarassing memory too.)
I and my hubby were going to celebrate our second wedding anniversary and I did not know what kind of surprise to make him. After much thought I decided to buy a lot of crayfish. Crayfish prices are quite high in Ukraine, so we almost did not buy it before and I was sure it would be a great surprise. I got a salary, spent a big amount of money and bought a plenty of alive crayfish. On the day of anniversary I decorated our apartment with balloons and showed my hubby the bath full of alive crayfish. He looked very happy, we boiled crayfish and sat at the dinner table to celebrate. We were eating crayfish and talking, a few hours later my husband told he was feeling bad. His face turned red and he had the choking feeling. I got frightened, called the ambulance, it arrived and the doctors told he had a severe allergy to seafood. My hubby was taken to hospital for a day. It is strange but my husband even did not suspect he had allergy to seafood before this case. He almost did not eat fish because he did not like it and other kinds of seafood are quite expensive here to buy, so he preferred to eat meat all his life.
The celebration of wedding anniversary was spoilt and my surprise turned into an unpleasant event. Now when we remember about the surpise I made, we are laughing but it was not so funny on that day.)
