Ok, first off, I really should say "Books Delivery" but it doesn't quite sound as good as "Book Delivery" so you know..... š¤·š»āāļø
Second....
I've been waiting a week for these babies to arrive!
I know.. One week. Woopeee!
Considering C19 and all that it actually came pretty quick but still.. New baby books!!
I basically couldn't wait to see her reaction to her new books which brings me to..
Third...
These arrived in perfect timing.
Poor little bubsicle had one of her worst teething days yet.
I kinda knew her teeth were getting closer to breaking skin since I've been feeling really sore at feeding times but she didn't really react to it until lunch time today.
She wasn't her usual cheerful, ravenous self and wouldn't eat properly. Then were was the extra sensitivity and tears.
She settled down as soon as I gave her a cold tether and frozen blueberries in her feeder which she devoured.
So when the books arrived she wasn't in the best mood. Even less impressed when I took my time wiping everything down before I gave them to her.
But when I finally did.. š
As upset as she was she was still.. "Ohhhh books!!"
Poor little darling š
Needless to say our day today was all about cuddles and comfort.
Today was defo a "sick day". But do "sick days" still apply when homeschooling?
We didn't get much done today ~ which was perfectly fine, I enjoy my cuddly baby ~ but that also means I didn't have time to look at the books properly aside from the "That's not my...." ones although a quick flip through indicated they rhymed and yall know me and books that rhyme š
Thankfully Hubby's working from home tomorrow so I'll have back up and maybe a solid minute of two to take pictures of the books for my blog.
I'll split them up into 4 posts since there's 4 different types of books. I'm hoping other parents on the book hunt for their littles will find these posts helpful.
