My son had sport and colour activity in school yesterday. I woke up early to prepare him for school. Plus he was excited because I also got him a new pair of shoe so he couldn't wait to try it on
The excitement.
I usually put extra clothes in his school bag...just incase he mess himself up they have something to change him into.
They had lots of activities.
But yesterday, I made a very silly mistake.
I didn’t pack any extra clothes.
My instinct told me to do that but I kept telling myself that I would come pick him up early, so there's no need.
Unfortunately, during the sports activities, he messed himself up.
The school had to wash his shorts, and my little boy had to stay half-naked for some time.
When they told me, my heart broke. I felt so bad.
Did I also mentioned that hubby had to remind me to put an extra clothes in his bag but I insisted it wasn't necessary
Sometimes our instinct already tells us what to do, but we ignore it because we think it won’t matter.
Little things like this will humble you in this journey of motherhood.
Yesterday taught me one simple lesson:
Never leave things to chance when it comes to your child.
We keep learning everyday.
